2026 Philadelphia STEM Goes Red Scholarship Application
Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2026 Philadelphia STEM Goes Red Scholarship. The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement, with support from the Somasundaram Family and Temple Health, established this scholarship to help bridge the gap between students’ passion for STEM and their pursuit of meaningful careers in these fields.

In 2026, the Philadelphia STEM Goes Red Scholarship Committee will award four (4) scholarships of $5,000 each to qualifying applicants.

Applications for the 2026 Philadelphia STEM Goes Red Scholarship are due by October 16, 2026.

Recipient(s) will be notified by October 30, 2026. All notifications are final. Based on the grade of the individual, scholarship awards will be distributed to coincide with the fall 2027 semester and will be distributed to an accredited college, university, or trade institution or directly into a 529 Savings Plan. Funds for individuals still in high school will be held until the individual transitions to college, but that must occur within four years of the application submission. Individuals are not eligible to receive direct funds.
