2027 New York City Go Red for Women® Class of Survivors

  • Thank you for your interest in the 2027 New York City Go Red for Women Class of Survivors. Each year, this remarkable sisterhood brings together women who have lived through heart disease or stroke and are committed to transforming their experiences into purpose. By sharing their journeys, Survivors raise awareness, inspire others, and shine a powerful light on women's heart health. We are deeply grateful to every woman who takes the time to share her experience. Every story is unique, every journey has value, and every survivor has the power to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Founded by fellow Survivor, Cristina Civetta, and her husband, Ed Scheetz, the Class was created to unite women with shared experiences, foster meaningful connections, and empower them to become advocates for women’s cardiovascular health.

As part of the Class, members serve as ambassadors for the Go Red for Women movement. They join a supportive and uplifting community rooted in strength, resilience, and the shared bond of survivorship.

Applications are open to women in the New York City area who have experienced heart disease or stroke and want to make a meaningful impact. Women of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences are encouraged to apply.

The application will close on September 9, 2026, and the Association will follow up with applicants by the end of September. If you have any questions, please reach out to Nicole Kerr at Nicole.Kerr@heart.org.
