  • FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

    FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT By joining Team Heart & Stroke for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, you will receive guaranteed entry for the race on November 1st, 2026, in exchange for raising a minimum of $6,000. You will be provided with a personal online fundraising page by the American Heart Association. To meet the fundraising requirements, 25% of your commitment ($1,500) must be raised by August 10th, 2026, 50% ($3,000) must be raised by September 28th, 2026, and the full amount must be raised by October 26th, 2026. If the $6,000 minimum is not raised by the deadline, you will be responsible for the balance. As per the New York Road Runner’s rules; If the minimum fundraising requirement is not met, you will not be eligible to participate in the marathon and your bib will be pulled.     TCS New York City Marathon Registration Fees and Requirements:
    Once your acceptance has been confirmed, you will also be required to complete an online entrance application that will be administered directly by New York Road Runners (NYRR). NYRR charges an entrance and processing fee that is independent of the funds raised for The American Heart Association. These fees will be paid by each individual runner directly to NYRR under the terms specified by them and will not count toward your total fundraising goal.
