The American Heart Association is looking ahead to 2026 and is searching for real stories of women in our community to share through our Washington Go Red for Women Ambassadors program. The Ambassadors are a group of survivors, caregivers and advocates who support the American Heart Association in Washington in raising awareness of women’s No 1. killer and inspiring women to take control of their health.
Participation is a one year commitment starting in the Fall of 2025 – through Summer 2026. Time commitment would require joining a half day photo shoot in the Fall, participating in a couple of online Zoom meetings in the Fall/Winter, reviewing bios and other information over e-mail, possible media interviews and speaking engagements (as you are willing and able), you’d be invited to attend the Go Red for Women Experience in the Spring and assorted other opportunities as they arise.
